Different Work At Home Programs

There are all types of different work at home programs. You could answer surveys, stuff envelopes, assemble crafts, sell items on eBay, join and promote affiliate programs (where you send traffic to someone else’s product sales page and receive a percentage of the sales price), etc., etc.

So, how do you begin to figure out where to start? I began by just surfing the web. I told myself not to join any program at first, just start checking out what’s out there in cyberspace. There are a tremendous number of different programs out there, all claiming to make you thousands of dollars per month with very little work and no experience needed. Let me save everyone a huge amount of time and tears. THERE IS NO PROGRAM IN EXISTANCE THAT WILL INSTANTLY MAKE YOU A MILLIONAIRE WITH LITTLE EFFORT. Every system takes time and persistant effort. Many people are making huge incomes from the Internet, but it has taken them years of trial and error and sometimes great effort.

It’s important to persue something that you can relate to. I personally love eBay. I get excited when I find a treasure that I can’t live without and is selling for a very low price. My strategy has always been to add it to my watch list and wait until there is about 10 minutes left in the auction. Then, I’ll swoop in and bid before anyone realizes I’m the new high bidder! I just read a statistic recently that said over 400,000 people are making a full time living on eBay. And countless others are making a substantial second income. Many people start out by finding items around their house that they don’t want any more. They list them on eBay, and if it is something that someone wants and is listed properly, they walk away with some cash. Notice that I said “if it is listed properly.” There is a whole science of how to describe your item, choose your headline, upload the proper picture, the best day of the week to start your auction, the amount of the starting bid, etc. I started out selling my CD’s that I didn’t want any longer. Then I discovered a nifty way to sell information in an automated process. It’s called the Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay. One of the great ideas that I’ve learned is to use the huge audience of eBay to drive traffic to the sales page of your website using your “about me” section. Don’t get me wrong, Jim’s system is great, but I quickly realized that in order to make any money you need to continually list more auctions. That’s not a bad thing; however, I stumbled on another program that uses the power of residual income. What’s residual income you ask? (so did I) Residual income is doing something once, and getting paid for it over and over and over again. This would be like selling someone a website hosting account that pays you money each month for the entire time they use the service. The other wonderful aspect of this program is multiple streams of income. This more or less means not having all your eggs in one basket–earning an income comprised of different sources. I think this is an obvious advantage. This system is called the PluginProfit system and was created by Stone Evans. I felt it was important to introduce you to the PIP’s concept early on in this blog, because most everything I share in this blog will relate to or enhance this program.
