Caution really is the name of the game when someone is seeking an investment vehicle for their money. We are reminded of this daily it seems, whether it be from news reports concerning the latest on Bernard Madoff or the breaking scandal regarding R. Allen Stanford, the banking and investment billionaire.
It can never be said too often: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Make sure to do as much research as possible on your next business opportunity. The internet is a wonderful tool, use it to find out everything you can. Use Google or your favorite search engine, you may be surprised at everything you find.
I’ve also written an article on fraud some time ago. But, I think the message is still just as timely today. The direct link is here: Internet Fraud.
Don’t let your hard earned money fall into the wrong hands. Go slowly, do your research, and find other investors that have already joined with their money. Ask them your questions. You will either feel much better about going forward, or that little voice in your head will start to speak. Either way, you will be far better off than the typical sheep.
